Resources & Planning Guides
Welcome to the Community Development Department's Resources & Planning Guides page. This page serves as a central hub for important information and guidelines related to private development and land use. Here, residents can access documents regarding regulations and standards created by the city staff or other trusted organizations to ensure clarity and direction on key matters impacting our community. These documents are provided to help residents stay informed and ensure compliance with city regulations, promoting a well-organized and harmonious community.
Campaign & Political Sign Regulations
The City has guidelines and rules regarding the placement, size, and duration of political signs within the city. These regulations are designed to ensure public safety, maintain the aesthetic quality of our community, and balance free expression with the needs of residents and businesses. For detailed information on requirements and permit processes, please refer to the Cornelius Municipal Code and resources and summaries provided on this page.
